The 2026 Putnam County Personal Property Assessment lists went out in the mail last week.
Many of you have noticed that the Assessments lists were incorrect and/or duplicated. We were not aware of this issue until the public notified our office as the mailing is outsourced with an outside company.
We want to thank you for letting us know about the issue.
If you have a business, you received the corrected form.
The issue was that individuals who should have been sent a 2026 Personal Property list were sent duplicated Business forms.
New corrected Personal Property assessment lists have been sent. If you came in and already submitted your 2026 Assessment list you will receive a corrected notice in the mail as they have already been sent. Please disregard the corrected notice if you have already turned your 2026 assessment list to our office.
**Please remember that we have an option to electronically file your assessment online.
To e-file go to our website at http://putnam.missouriassessors.com. You only need two things to e-file, your ACCT# and E-File # and are located on the front of your assessment list.
Please call our office if you have any questions.
We apologize for any frustration and confusion this has caused. Thank you for your understanding.
